Today I had an interesting conversation with Rob, a frustrated CEO, who was willing to divulge his experience in what he had pinpointed as a problem area within his company. Rob’s nature of his position required a significant amount of travel and time spent away from the office - but here did not lie the problem. He had increasingly become aware that he was relying solely on the honor system to track and manage his employees’ time and, not surprisingly, it wasn’t producing accurate results. Surprised? Probably not, but I know there are several of us who just thought, “Sounds familiar!”
