Switching careers to go into authorized nursing is all the rage these days. After all, the demand is high, the pay is great, plus a career as a registered nurse comes with excellent benefits and a flexible routine. It’s the perfect career selection, right? The classes forced to get a degree as a registered nurse will take you a minimum of three years — a year of prerequisite courses and two years for the associated nursing degree. That’s a big piece of your life, to say nothing about the expenses - most likely tens of thousands of dollars in tuition.

Our public schools (and the teaching profession) may die the same death other jobs have died in the course 30 years of ideologically driven national suicide. Ms Ravitch questions this approach. She finds that foundations, such as those of Gates, Broad, and Walton, are not accountable to the public at all. Diane Ravitch does a marvelous job in reviewing data and research pertaining to several of the education “reforms” of the past 15 years. Progressive educators tried programs such as Balanced Literacy. If there is anyone who will save public education in this nation, it is Diane Ravitch - and she should be given the Medal of Honor for being out there every day, leading the charge. Graduate school scholarships are easy to find but it is hard to have one if you don’t know what it takes. Taking a graduate studies are hard. The expenses that await you may be more than what you think of. Add this up to your previous expenses and stay in college - you may no longer accommodate such ideas. But scholarships help you overcome the costs. However, if you don’t have the right planning in trying to search for a scholarship, you might find it really tasking and might even end you up taking bad choice of scholarship programs. Better to start by choosing the field you want to study and finding the institutions and individual sponsors that are related to it. Find them and start complying with the requirements for graduate schools.
